Meet Chef Jay and a lifelong journey of flavor
What inspires Chef Jay the most is seeing guests genuinely enjoy meals created straight from the heart. Starting his culinary journey at just 13 years old, he trained under an experienced mentor to become a chef by age 16. Turning food into edible artwork is his lifelong calling. From traditional soul food, Jamaican, Mexican, and African delicacies to Asian and Italian classics, Chef Jay embraces global cuisines without holding backâcrafting everything from beef, lamb, duck, and fresh seafood to scratch-made poundcakes and cheesecakes.
The story behind Red Sea Cooking & Catering
The name Red Sea Cooking & Catering is inspired by the biblical account of Moses parting the waters in Exodus 14. Just as a diverse gathering of people crossed through the Red Sea carrying unique cultures and traditions, our catering celebrates an incredible variety of cooking styles under one roof. We honor that heritage by weaving together multicultural flavors, letting you and your guests eat with your eyes first and savor rich sweet and savory tastes that warm the soul.
